Billing is based on total nameplate MWh connected to Cellanchor at the start of each billing cycle. If you add capacity mid-month, the additional MWh is prorated. We use nameplate (not SoH-adjusted) for billing — if your batteries are degraded, that's why you need the platform.

The Pilot tier is a full-featured deployment on a single BESS installation up to 10 MWh. You get real-time SoC/SoH monitoring, daily reports, standard protocol integration (DNP3 / Modbus), and API read access. Onboarding support is included. Pilot runs month-to-month — no annual commitment required.

IEC 61850 and SunSpec are Pro and above. Pilot supports DNP3 and Modbus TCP/RTU. If your site uses IEC 61850, we'd typically recommend starting at Pro tier. Contact us to discuss — some utility pilots have specific protocol requirements we can accommodate.

For standard DNP3 and IEC 61850 sites, we target under 2 weeks from signed agreement to first live SoH readout. Our team handles the protocol configuration and gateway setup. Custom chemistry models or non-standard protocols may add 1-2 weeks. We do not require site access — all configuration is remote.

Enterprise customers can opt for an on-premise deployment where all telemetry and analytics processing runs within their own infrastructure (typically a utility data centre or private cloud). This addresses data residency requirements common in regulated utility environments. The analytics engine is containerised (Kubernetes-compatible). Contact us for data sheet.

No setup fees on Pilot and Pro tiers — integration support is included in the monthly fee. Enterprise contracts include a one-time implementation fee for custom chemistry models and dedicated integration engineering, scoped to project requirements.

Cellanchor is a battery analytics and measurement platform. We do not sell or manufacture battery hardware. We do not replace your EMS or SCADA — we sit alongside them as an analytics layer. We do not provide investment advice or revenue guarantees on dispatch outcomes. We do not claim NERC CIP certification or SOC 2 Type II status at this stage; our platform is designed with data security controls in mind for regulated environments, and we disclose our current security posture to pilot partners before the agreement is signed.
